Pastor takes 12yr old girl to a hotel, rapes her all night

A 12-year-old girl, Miss Ijeoma Mbiaka, on
Wednesday narrated to DailyPost how the
pastor of her church, Rhema Ministries in
Oyeagu Abagana in Njikoka Local Government
Area of Anambra State, Rev Sampson Otisi
allegedly lured her to a hotel, under the guise
of conducting deliverance on her but ended
up raping her all through the night.
Ijeoma, who is hard at hearing, told our
reporter that she had gone to the church to
seek prayers from the pastor so that she
could hear loudly again.
She, however, said she was lured to the hotel
and raped from 9 pm to the next morning
and dumped in the hotel room, where she
cried until hotel attendants rescued
her.Speaking at the Magistrate Court Abagana
after a court session, Ijeoma said she prayed
all night reminding the pastor of the
consequence of his act, but his pleas fell on
deaf ears.

The victim came to the court aided as a result
of the injuries she sustained during the
alleged act.According to her,
"It started on a Tuesday when I went to
the church for prayers. I have not been
hearing clearly with my ears for
sometime, so I went to the pastor for
prayers and when I told him my
problem, he said I should stay behind
that he will pray for me after everyone
has gone"."After the session that day, he
called me to the backyard and started
praying for me. He poured anointing oil
into my ear and mouth. He now ordered
me to remove my dress and he poured
some on my tummy and started
massaging it. After sometime, he started
putting his hand inside (Vagina), to
which I objected. He said he will leave
me if I do not want him to pray for
me".
Ijeoma narrated that as usual the pastor had
asked her to stay behind, that he will conduct
a special prayer for her and her hearing will
be okay again.

"After the service, only he and his friend
were left, he said he will take me to the
house and pray for me, but when I
objected and told him that my father
will kill me, he said I should not mind
that nothing will happen to me.
"He took me to a hotel, ran upstairs and
came back and ordered me and his
friend to come with him. He took us up
and put his friend in another room and
took me to a separate room. He ordered
food for me and hot drink, to which I
objected. He said the drink was part of
the deliverance that I had to drink it. He
forced it down my throat and when I
started to feel sleepy he undressed me
and inserted his 'something' into me;
then he started pushing it in and pushing
out.
"Even when blood was gushing out of
me, he continued to push the 'thing'
inside. I tried shouting but he covered
my mouth, when I could not help
myself, I started praying and telling him
of the implication of what he was doing
to me before God but he kept on".
She said she was only freed the next morning
when she regained consciousness and started
banging the door of the hotel room asking
for assistance.

Though Ijeoma said she complained to her
mum when she got back after the first
incident, her mum, Mrs Ifeoma who also
spoke to DailyPost said she confronted the
pastor the next day and he denied putting his
hand under the girls pant, claiming he was
only praying for her; a defense which led the
gullible woman to accept that the pastor
meant well.
She stated that the truth, however, dawned
on her on the following Tuesday when her
daughter went to the same church and failed
to return home.
"I thought she had been kidnapped, in fact I
believe this is also kidnap", she told our
reporter.

A copy of medical report issued to her by the
Chief Medical Officer of Enugu Ukwu General
Hospital, Dr J.O Akuka which her parents
showed to our reporter revealed that she
sustained bruises, and a torn hymen.
This showed that there was a penetration in
her vagina.Ijeoma's mother pleaded with the
relevant authorities to help her find justice
for her innocent daughter who was violated
by a man she trusted to be a Man of God, as
the matter is currently before a Magistrate
court in Abagana.
He told our reporter that the pastor had
allegedly offered him N500, 000 to keep
sealed lips, an offer he rejected, but
expressed fears that the pastor may use the
money to subvert justice.

The pastor, Rev Otisi, who is the senior
pastor of a branch of Rhema Church in
Abagana refused to make comments when he
was approached. His counsel, Barr CC Achi,
however, said that the matter was only being
engineered by unseen hands from behind as
his client occupied a land that is in dispute.

"The issue here is land dispute, but
these people are being used by someone
who is in tussle over a piece of land with
our client. On a separate allegation of
being previously charged with the rape
of 8-year-old in his church, the lawyer
said it was not true, adding that it was
meant to paint his client in bad light.

Olu of Warri Finally Bows To His People's Tradition To Save His Throne

After four days of intense pressure from his subjects, the
Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II, yesterday capitulated.
The royal father capitulated about 11:20pm after much
pressure by various groups and Governor Emmanuel
Uduaghan of Delta State.
Thousands of youths and women had laid siege to the Olu’s
palace (Aghofen), Ugbori located in Ajamimogha area of
Warri, in protest over the declaration of the monarch
entitled “The New Order of Iwere Kingdom”.
The elders and leaders of thought had told the monarch
point-blank that if he failed to rescind and recant his
declaration immediately, he should be prepared to face the
wrath of the people.
In a position paper obtained last Monday
night, the Itsekiri leaders under the auspices of Itsekiri
Legacy Rebirth, a prominent Itsekiri elders/opinion leaders
group, had dissociated themselves from the contentious
declaration, saying it was not binding on anybody in the
land.
The paper was signed by Pa J. O.S Ayomike and Chief Israel
O. Jemide. They said that about eight of 19 Olus got
baptized as Christian and, as such, the Itsekiri nation
cannot be said to have a covenant with
“Umalokun” (goddess of the sea).
While saying a pocket of people may have had covenant
with the “Umalokun”, the leaders insisted that everyone
has freedom of worship as enshrined in the Nigerian
constitution, adding that “religion is a personal matter”
that should not be forced on the people.
They said that no one has stopped Atuwatse II from being a
“devout” Christian as the country’s constitution gives him
the fundamental right to practise a religion of his belief
without let or hindrance.
Even the presence of heavily armed security agents
mobilised to the palace at Ugboren in Ajamimogha area
did not deter the protesters as they turned out in thousands
from their various communities in both upland and
riverine areas to resist the “new order”.
It was observed that an indication that the royal
father had yielded was first manifested when cannon shots
were fired at about 11:30pm, which was very unusual.
Shortly after, the Warri Council chiefs emerged from the
palace to drop the cheering news to the protesters amidst
wild jubilation.
Spokesman of the council Chief Charles Ikomi told the
crowd that the Olu of Warri had accepted to “drop the
issue”.

Chief (Mrs) Rita Lori-Ogbebor commended the angry
Itsekiris comprising old men, women and youths for their
peaceful protests in the past few days and urged them to
return to their various homes because “our monarch has
dropped the issue”.

The message was terse but the protesters were satisfied and
went into wild jubilation, while the masquerades spiced
the occasion with different traditional dances.
Another round of cannon shots was fired after the message
was delivered, signalling the Itsekiris’ acceptance of the
new position of their royal father.

It was  observed that the Council of Chiefs thereafter
returned to the palace to thank the monarch for the
decision while the celebration lasted amongst the
indigenes.

It was gathered that the monarch yielded to the demands
of his subjects following deferent pressures from various
groups and the 48 hours’ ultimatum given by the elders of
the kingdom for the Olu of Warri to rescind his position.

It was  learnt that he saw the need to listen to the cries of his subjects following the desertion of three of his
cabinet members, who said that they did not know the
reason for appending their signatures to the document; one
escaped to Port Harcourt to escape the wrath of their
kinsmen and women.
The Itsekiri elders under the aegis of Itsekiri Elders and
Leaders of Thought, after several hours of deliberations
and consultations on Monday, had given the Olu of Warri
48 hours to rescind his declaration or abdicate the throne.

Before the monarch yielded to the demands of his subjects,
a heavy security web was weaved around the palace
yesterday with the presence of soldiers, navy, air force,
police and civil defence personnel.

Pastor Kumuyi Does Not Recognize ‘Prophetess’ Who Visited Heaven, Hell and Came Back

The General Superintendent of the Deeper
Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William
Kumuyi, has refused to recognise the
controversial videos of a ‘prophetess’ and
others who claimed to have died, gone to
heaven and came back to narrate their
extra-terrestrial experience.

In the controversial videos being sold all over
Nigeria, two women and a boy claimed they
died, went to heaven and came back to
narrate what they said God showed them.
One of such CDs is that of a Sierra Leonean
woman, simply called Sister Linda Ngaujah.
Linda said she died and was shown
happenings in heaven and hell and that many
of the members of a large church on the
Lagos-Ibadan expressway are on their way to
hell and that the founder of a leading church
in Lagos should repent as he allegedly
acquired his powers from the devil, saying
that a Bishop of another large congregation
and his members are not even recognised in
heaven.
The ‘prophetess’ added that women who used
rubber and wool to plait their hair will go to
hell as it is a sin and that the only way for
people to be prepared for heaven is to go
back to the old Deeper Life Bible Church’s
method of dressing.

The video CDs released by Linda is causing
serious controversy in the church of God as
some women in Deeper Life, who plait rubber
hair have vowed never to do so again as they
want to get to heaven.
Some female worshippers have even shaved
their hair in one Christian Assembly in
Ikorodu, saying that they don’t want to have
anything to do with attachment as they want
to get to heaven.

Another person who claimed to have gone to
heaven said she saw the late wife of Kumuyi,
Biodun, in heaven and narrated her
encounter there.
Other CDs were released by Margaret Amure
from Church of God Mission, who also
claimed to have gone to heaven and another
10-year old boy from Edo, named Samuel.
P.M.NEWS Nigeria reports that on Sunday
during the church service, Pastor
Kumuyi reacted to this development warned
members of his church not to have anything
to do with such CDs as these are the last days
where many people would come up with
different things to deceive the church of God.
Pastor Kumuyi urged members of the church
not to waste their money on such CDs, saying
that the church should not rely on purported
CDs of people who claimed to have gone to
heaven to come back to produce CDs to sell
to people narrating their encounter.
He referred to Linda’s CD which said people
need to dress like Deeper Life to get to
heaven, saying that “if you dress like Deeper
Life without salvation and sanctification, will
you get to heaven? These are the last days.”
The man of God emphasized that dressing like
Deeper Life would not take anybody to
heaven but that righteousness and holiness of
heart are the keys to getting to the kingdom
of God and warned members to desist from
watching such CDs.

Pastor Kumuyi further said that one of the
people who claimed to have gone to heaven
said they saw Mummy Kumuyi in the kingdom
of God, saying that he did not need such CD
to know that his wife was in heaven and that
the word of God has told us the criteria for
getting to His kingdom.
According to him, such people were merely
deceiving the people, saying that when
Apostle Paul was translated to heaven and
came back, he did not produce CDs about
what he saw in heaven and began to sell
them.

“When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead,
Lazarus did not go about telling people that
this was what he saw in heaven. We should
rest on the word of God to tell us what we
need to know about heaven and how to get
there. How do you know that they have
actually gone to heaven? These are the last
days. Don’t waste your money on buying
these CDs,” he stated.

5,000 women plan protest against Olu of Warri

No fewer than 5,000 women are expected to
storm the palace of the Olu of warri, Ogiame
Atuwase II, on Tuesday (today) to protest the
monarch’s decision to abolish some of the
ancient Itshekiri cultural practices.
Our correspondent learnt that the women
would be dressed in symbolic red attire as a
sign of danger for the monarch.
Atunwase II had last Wednesday declared in a
document titled, “The New Order of Iwere
Kingdom,” that the “Ogiame” title which had
been in existence for over 500 years would
cease to exist following the recent
consecration of the kingdom to God.
“Ogiame” means “King of the River,” according
to the history behind the Itsekiri throne.
He said, “I also repent for the name and title
of “Ogiame” that my ancestors and I have
borne, as it connotes our allegiance to
Umalokun (goddess of the river) and other
deities of the sea, all of which are false gods.
“Today, I renounce our allegiance to
Umalokun and other gods of the sea, land and
sky. On behalf of the royal bloodline, the
throne, the people of Iwere land, I publicly
enter into a new covenant with God.”
But, a former Commissioner in Delta State,
Dr. Alex Ideh, urged the monarch “to rescind
and recant immediately his declaration or
abdicate the throne.” He added that the
monarch did not consult the Itsekiri
Traditional Council of Chiefs and Ruling
Houses before his decision to denounce the
title of Ogiame.
“Any action otherwise will make him
(monarch) face the wrath of the Itsekiri
people. The issue of religion being canvassed
in the monarch’s declaration are his personal
views. He could not railroad the nation to
accept those views or obliterate the history of
the people,” he said.
Also, Itsekiri Leaders of Thought in a
statement by its leaders, J.O.S Ayomike, Chief
I.O Jemide (Secretary) and eight others stated,
“The part of the (Olu’s) statement which
alleges that the Itsekiri religion is fetish and
that the Itsekiris are non-Christians is a
misrepresentation of the well-known
documented historical fact that Christianity
actually started in Warri/Benin region in the
early 16th Century and about eight of the 19
Olus got baptised as Christians.
“Itsekiri as a nation cannot be said to have
covenant with Umalokun. There may be
pockets of Itsekiri people who do. Everyone
has freedom of worship as it is done
everywhere. Religion is a personal matter.”

Brazilian man to wed his beloved goat in the Church of the Devil

Former stonecutter Aparecido Castaldo, 74,
has decided to end his days as a single man
to marry his beloved Carmelita, a goat.

Because no Christian minister would agree to
perform the marriage ceremony, the two will
be wed by a known satanic leader, in the
Church of the Devil.
The widower and father-of-seven, apparently
wanted to be united with his goat Carmela in
a church, by an evangelical minister.
Unfortunately, none of the churches he
contacted with his unusual request wanted to
perform the ceremony, so Aparecido
eventually contacted Toninho do Diabo (Tom
the Devil), an old friend who just happens to
be one of the most famous satanists in Brazil.

”Only our church accepted this love
between man and animal because we
have no prejudice,” Toninho said.

Aparecido fell in love with his pet goat two
years ago, and apparently she has already
been accepted as a “stepmother” by the man’s
seven children, who will all be at the
wedding. Although their upcoming wedding
has caused a lot of controversy in the
community, and attracted accusations from
animal rights activists, Castaldo said he just
needs a life companion and Carmella is just
perfect.

“Whenever someone says I am doing
something wrong I reply the goat does
not speak, ask for money to go shopping
and doesn’t get pregnant – and she can’t
talk,” the groom-to-be praised his future
wife. She does have one fault, though –
she tries to eat everything, including the
first wedding dress Aparecido got for
her. Luckily, he was able to find another.

After the October 13 wedding, Aparecido
plans to celebrate his union to Carmela with a
barbecue party, but makes it very clear that
there won’t be any goat meat served

Ozekhome kidnap: Abductors insist on N100m ransom

Sources close to the family of the kidnapped
human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome,
have said that the legal luminary has not been
released by his abductors due to the family’s
inability to pay the ransom demanded by the
kidnappers.
Our correspondent learnt that the kidnappers
insisted on collecting N100m before they
could release the legal luminary.
It was gathered that the kidnappers rejected
the money offered to them by Ozekhome’s
family, claiming that he had the capability to
pay the required ransom.

A family source, who pleaded anonymity
reportedly said, “They [the kidnappers] were
saying that the lawyer is a very rich man, and
N100m should be a ‘chicken change’ to him.
They said they were aware that he made so
much money from election tribunals’
litigation.”
Meanwhile, the kidnapped All Progressive
Congress chief in Edo North, Mr. Athanasius
Ugbome, who was kidnapped alongside
Ozekhome, was on Sunday set free by the
abductors.
His family allegedly paid N10.4m to facilitate
his release.

The duo were kidnapped along the Benin-
Auchi Road on August 23, before Ugbome
regained freedom around 1am at an
undisclosed place on Sunday.

Don't Make The Stowaway Boy A Hero - NAAPE

National Association of Aircraft Pilots and
Engineers, NAAPE  has frowned at the effort
to make a hero out of the stowaway boy by
publicly giving reward to a boy that at best
fell far short of acceptable behaviour.

Here is what their Public Relations Officer,
Bunmi Gindeh said; “While NAAPE does not
want to stand in the way of anyone’s fortune,
we consider that in this particular case,
making such gesture public gives an
erroneous impression which makes it a dis-

even in the name of charity, will only
encourage other kids, and even adults, to
embark on similar misadventure.”

Okada man Allegedly Defiles 5yr old, pays her 5Naira

A 28-year-old okada rider, Mr Tope Daisi,
currently being held by the police in Oyo
State over the alleged defilement of a five-
year-old girl, was said to have offered the girl
N5 which the girl used to buy sweet after the
act.
This was revealed to Crime Reports during an
interview with the victim, Sekinat (not real
names) after the suspect was arrested by
detectives from Eleyele police station.

It was learnt that though the act was committed on
Tuesday, August 27, Seki’s grandmother,
Madam Khadijat Kolapo went to the police
station on Wednesday, August 28 and
narrated how her neighbour, Daisi, lured her
granddaughter to his room when she went
out and left the girl at home.
The elderly woman further alleged that the
man stripped the girl of her cloth and defiled
her, after which he gave her N5 and warned
her to keep sealed lips.

However, the little
girl could not keep the experience and the
money she earned from her seven-year-old
cousin, Afusat (not real name), as she told
her that Brother Tope did ashewo (prostituted
with) to her.
Immediately their grandmother returned
home, Afusat told her what happened and
said that they had already used the money to buy sweet.

The Divisional Police officer in charge of the
station, Olawole Ayoola, a Deputy
Superintendent of Police, reportedly ordered
the suspect’s arrest but when interviewed, he
denied the allegation, though he could not explain why he was the one pointed at among
other men in the neighbourhood. When the
girl was taken to a hospital for medical
examination, Crime Reports learnt that the
report indicated bruises in the vaginal area
though the hymen was still intact.

Narrating her experience to Crime Reports in
her childish voice, Sekinat said:
“I was outside and he (Daisi) came to
take from our house to his room. He
spread a mat on the floor, removed my
pants and his trousers. He lay on me,
held the thing that is used to urinate
and put it in my private part. After he
finished, he warned me not to tell
anybody. He then gave me N5 and I
used it to buy sweet.”

In an interview, the Ijebu-Ode-born suspect
who disclosed that he was also a footballer,
said he was surprised that the girl pointed at
him.

According to him,
“on the fateful day, I was at Eleyele area
of the city where I normally go around
5a.m. to issue tickets to okada riders.
My football club also had a match at
Olubadan Stadium by 2pm. We were
told to report by 1.30p.m. So, at noon,
I went home on my bike to prepare. As I
was coming, I saw some children playing
with sand and one of them ran across,
in front of the bike. I stopped and beat
her but some bystanders said I should
thank God that I didn’t hit the girl. I
went home to have a shower and left for
the stadium. In the evening, I went back
to okada park and returned home
around 9pm.I was surprised when the
girl’s grandmother came to me on
Wednesday, August 28 and held on to
my shirt, saying that her granddaughter
informed her that I took her in,
removed her pants and put my organ in
her private parts. I told her it was not
true but she did not listen.”
The grandmother said she took over the care
of the little girl because her mother became
bedridden as a result of stroke she suffered.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer,
Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor, confirmed the
story to Crime Reports, stating that the
suspect had been transferred to the State
Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku,
for further investigation.

Beyonce's first boyfriend says losing Her Is His Biggest Regret

On the relationship:

Beyonce was the love of my life and I
was hers, so losing her is still my biggest
regret. She would say to me all the time,
‘I’m afraid to ever live my life without
you Lyndall, I want you to be mine for
ever’.
I’ll be honest — it was me that messed
everything up and lost her for ever to
Jay Z, but I deserved it.
Who cheats on a woman as beautiful as
Beyonce? Well, I am that man and it’s
something that’ll always haunt me
How he met Beyonce
Met Beyonce through Kelly Rowland
during a church youth group session
when he was 13, and she was 11.From
the first time I saw Beyonce I couldn’t
take my eyes off of her. She looked like
an angel, the most beautiful girl I’d ever
seen. We’d hang out after school and
almost every night we’d fall asleep
talking to each other on the phone.
On not knowing Beyonce could sing
She was just so shy, she was a bit of an
outcast at school and didn’t even sing in
the choir. For two years I didn’t know
she could sing. We spent hours watching
movies together and playing Connect
4.Some of our most fun times was when
I watched Beyonce, her sister Solange
and Kelly performing dance routines. So
while I had no idea how good her voice
was back then, I certainly knew she
could move.

On their first kiss

It was just after Beyonce’s 15th
birthday. I surprised her with Brian
McKnight concert tickets and it
happened that night. I had got popcorn
and as we were sitting in our seats I
dropped it. As we both went down to
grab it we bumped heads, and locked
into our first kiss.
We both just looked at each other
realizing there was this incredible spark
of fireworks between us. It was that
fairytale kiss you only hear about in the
movies. That was the first feeling of true
love between me and Beyonce. Still, to
this day, I’ve never had another kiss as
passionate as that one.
The bigger star she became, the more I
didn’t think I was good enough. One
night, when she was out of town, I went
to a bar with friends and ended up
sleeping with another woman. Over the
course of a few years I cheated on her
about five times, but I never told her
until after we broke up.
She was such a great girl who cared
about me deeply, she even wrote her hit
Dangerously in Love while we were
together. That’s how in love we were
back then. Initially my intention was to
take a break from our relationship so I
could go to culinary school and make a
name for myself. But when I headed to
Austin to do the course she quickly
moved on with her own life.Once she
began dating Jay Z, I knew we were
doomed and I could never win her back.
But I know that no matter what, she will
always love me. I will always wonder
‘What if?’ and, given all we shared, I’m
sure a part of her must feel the same
way.

8year old bride dies from injuries after wedding night sex with 40yr old hubby

An eight year old bride in Yemen died from internal injuries on her wedding night, bleeding to death after deep vaginal tearing caused by sex with her 40 year old husband. The girl, identified only by the name Rawan, died in Hardh in the governorate of Hajjah in northwestern Yemen, according to a report issued by UPI on Sunday, Sept. 8. Activists in the region want to put an end to the practice of marrying young girls, and have called for police to arrest the girl's husband and family. Nevertheless, the forced marriage of child brides in Yemen remains a socially accepted custom in many rural areas. Yemeni activists urged the local police to arrest the “beastly groom” and the girl’s family and transfer them to a court where justice would be served and the case would be used to help put an end to the practice of marrying very young girls in the impoverished country, the daily said. In Kuwait, bloggers offered their prayers for the “bride”, but lashed out at the “groom”, saying that he was a beast who should be severely punished

Politician Rapés Girl To Déath In Goodluck Jonathan's Village

The personal assistant to the former chairman of Otuoke Community Development Committee (CDC) in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has been arrested for allegedly raping to death an 18 year old girl. Otuoke is the hometown of President GoodLuck Jonathan. The 36-year old politician turned rapist was arrested by the police as he tried to dispose of the corpse of the innocent girl through the back door. Indigenes of Otuoke said that the suspect committed the act in an uncompleted building owned by his boss, the former chairman of Otuoke CDC. An eyewitness said that the suspected rapist was arrested by a security personnel. "We saw the civil defense officer dragging the suspect and shouting that he has raped a girl to death," he said. But the politician is claiming he was only helping the girl after he saw her on the ground (in his house) in pain. Anyway, the Bayelsa State police command confirmed the politician has been transferred to the state capital for further investigation.

Students don't want us to end the strike:-ASUU

Dr. Isa Fagge told Punch students are the main reason they are
continuing with the strike...

“Our students have come out to say they don’t want us to call off
the strike until the Federal Government answers us, because they
don’t want us to call off now and later we go back to strike again.
So, we are heeding the advice of our students,”
“Now, government has pulled out of the dialogue. We thought we
were the ones going on strike, but now government has also gone
on strike.”There are issues and agreement they can implement
without money. Why don’t they begin with those ones?

"Being a lawyer has always been my dream" 9ice goes back to school-

After having one of the most successful albums of all time, 9nice has decided to go back and pursue his career as a lawyer. In this interview with Nigerian Tribune..he says its always been his dream. You were said to have pulled out of your Law programme at the Lagos State University to face music. That decision paid off, but you seem not to be happy about it now? I didn’t pull out because of music; I left school because I was unable to pay my school fees. While I was on the street, I gave hundred percent of my life to music and it paid off eventually. When I was in school, I was just doing music for fun until I left school. At that point, I decided that I was going to face music passionately and from that point, things changed. Your decision to leave school wouldn’t have gone down well with your parents, how did they react to it and what was constantly coming to your mind back then? It was not an easy decision to make. There were days that I had to live in the studio. Talking about my parents’ reaction, I had to lie for a while, pretended as if all was well. Before my parents knew I wasn’t in school, it was too late to complain because I was already on TVs, making money and rocking shows all around. Would you consider going back to school someday? I’m in school already, studying public safety and Common Law at Capella university. It is an online programme. I can’t think of any other course except law. Would you trade your being famous for something else if you look at some of the bad side of fame that you have experienced over time? Yes, I will love to trade fame with some silent life that does not arrogate too much attention to one, but it has got nothing to do with any bad experience. No matter what you do or who you are, there’s always a difficult time and life challenges that you can’t run away from. But I will really love to trade because I wish to be a lawyer. That has always been my dream. Do you think life would have been different for you should you have been a lawyer? Honestly, life as a normal person is fine and more wonderful, free, fair and peaceful. But as a public figure, you enjoy more and you pay more in terms of the price you pay for being famous. If I come to this world again, I would prefer normal life.

Either You Like It Or Not, Nigerian Gays Have A Right- Yemisi Ilesanmi

All she told TELL Magazine below; What Nigerians need to know about homoséxuality: The very first thing we need to understand is that homoséxuality, biséxuality, aséxuality are all as natural as heteroséxuality. Our séxual orientation differs; we are born with an innate ability to be emotionally or séxually attracted or not be séxually or emotionally attracted to same séx or opposite séx. Unfortunately, many African societies do not provide enabling environments to discuss séxual orientation. Séxual orientation does not harm anyone. A person who is attracted to opposite séx does not harm anyone so far it is a consensual adult relationship. A homoséxual who is attracted to the same séx does not harm anybody so far it is a consensual adult relationship. A Biséxual or Panséxual who can be attracted to all séxes harms no one so far it is an adult consensual relationship. Even an Aséxual who is not séxually attracted to any gender harms no one. We are all different, and non-harmful lifestyle of adults should not be criminalised. If Nigerians will ever accept homosexuality: Whether Nigerians accept it or not, LGBT rights are recognised human rights. Unless, you can prove that Lesbians, gays, biséxuals and transséxuals are not human beings, well, you have no reason to deny them their fundamental human rights. Unfortunately many Nigerians believe in the concept of sin. First, we must understand that sin is a religious concept. Not every Nigerian is religious. Your religion is also a personal matter, why drag other people into your personal relationship with Jesus, Mohamed or Obatala? When I am told that homoséxuality is a sin, I just tell them their religion is not my law. The Bible or Quran is not my constitution, so why is that even coming up? It is absurd when Christian gay bashers gleefully quote Leviticus 18:22 to justify why they want to jail and stone gays. Anyone who wants to quote from Leviticus should at least read the book to make sure they are not guilty of any of the things condemned in the book. Leviticus also says you should not shave, you should not interact with a woman in her menstrual cycle, thou shall not eat shrimps or shell fish, Lev. 11:10,11:6-8 thou shall not touch the skin of a dead pig (therefore touching football without wearing gloves makes you unclean!) So, when Christians throw Leviticus at me, I simply throw Leviticus right back in their face. What her family thinks about her séxual orientation and controversies: What makes a family is love, tolerance and acceptance. Anyone who shows me love and welcomes me into their heart is my family. Love is one thing that is thicker than blood. My immediate family knows my séxual orientation, my father is late, and my mother is accepting of whom I am and has shown me love and support. To continue to be an important part of my life, you cannot be homophobic, biphobic or transphobic. If her atheism belief is connected to her séxuality: My atheism has nothing to do with my biséxuality. Atheism is simply a non-belief in God. My biséxuality is my séxual orientation, no connection. However, I must say, my atheism has helped me to stand up against religious bullies, who use the Bible and the Quran to justify their hate for gays, lesbians, transséxual and biséxuals. Religion carries a lot of unwarranted weight in Nigeria and Africa generally. This should not be so. In fact, this is one reason the African continent is still very backward. When religion carried so much weight in Europe during middle Ages, it was wrought with wars, jihads, killings and ethnic cleansing. Many religious Africans now use the ‘holy’ books to justify the oppression of members of their own society. Even when the original owners of the religion inform them that the book has been updated and some parts are no longer applicable, Africans still insist that it is must be applicable because it says so in the book they were given. How pathetic!

"WAEC seized my English results thrice"-Patrick Obahiagbon

Did you write exams in school in these big words?
I used such words very-very freely in my exams both at the secondary school and in my university and little wonder I had the misfortune of my English results being seized intermittently in my O’ Levels.
WAEC released my results for the other subjects and withheld my English result. This happened for about three years. Twice, I passed the University Matriculation Examination but I could not proceed to the University because of my English results that were not released. At the end of the day, it was released after the third attempt.

Why do you always speak ‘big grammar’?

I am not really consensus ad idem with those who opine that my idiolect is advertently obfuscative. No no no, it’s just that I am in my elements when the colloquy has to do with the pax nigeriana of our dreams and one necessarily needs to fulminate against the alcibiadian modus vivendi of our prebendal political class.

How do you talk to your wife, children and even your friends?

I relate with my family and friends very warmly and in an atmosphere of camaraderie, stripped of my confutational habiliment and gladiatorial homilies. I am a very peaceful, calm, level-headed and celestially attuned soul personality.
Is this the way you proposed to your wife, speaking high tech grammar?
Of course, the business of the day when I interfaced with my wife on matters of the heart had to be in plain Caeser’s language and you can decipher why that had to be so. The matter in view did not permit itself of sphinxian conundrum.

Do you know that many people don’t take you too seriously when you talk because they think you are not communicating?
Why will I be perturbed from ensconcing myself in the palatable arms of Morpheus because people have deprived themselves of the cultivation of the regime of the mental magnitude? I read all the farrago of baloneys and vacuous bunkum from pepper soup objurgators. The spirit of animadversion remains their fundamental human right. It also remains an indubitable fact that I get millions and millions of requests daily from people all over the world requesting for my verbal mentorship which positive cosmopolitan reactions have assisted my equipoise and righteous sense of pachydermatous garb. I cannot put my nose to the grindstone daily and expect to be understood by those luxuriating in a modus vivendi, verging on pepper souping, goat heading, suyaing, big stouting and isiewulising. Has a philosophical wag not once pontificated that things of the spirit are spiritually discerned and that it takes the deep to call the deep? We will speak more on this matter of critiques and chichi dodo another day.

Why do you pull your trousers up beyond the waist?
Hahahaha….That trousers style is called Yohji Yamamoto. It was my own audacious statement to remonstrate against the pervasive tendency of Nigerians especially our youths that took to the practice of putting on trousers exposing their lower anatomical contours and I will do it over and over again

I Had A Vision My Marriage Would Crash & It Did ––Singer Ara

Drummer girl, Ara, tells Punch's Ademola Olonilua about her career, relationship and life as a single mother. It is an interesting read as she answers the questions bugging the minds of many. Excerpt: Before your hit song with Tuface, you were quiet on the entertainment scene, what have you been up to lately? I was taking time out to heal from my broken marriage. I have since released another video, Yanke. I also just recently produced my first movie, Osunfunke. Are you now healed from the trauma of your failed marriage? I am healed. Are you in any relationship at the moment? Yes. I won’t give a name. I really I don’t want to talk about him. Why did you go into movies? My mission is to promote the culture and tourism of the different states in Nigeria through my movies. The Osun State was the first state we signed with. I am an icon and my brand is associated with culture. I have a voice and face that is recognised and respected. I have represented Nigeria internationally at different levels and made Nigeria proud. All I am asking is for like minds like me to work with me. I also urge people who have passion for their culture and for sponsors to also come on board. Are you leaving music for movies then? No, I am not leaving music. I am combining both of them. Why did you start with production, one would have thought you would begin with acting first? I also acted in the movie. I played the lead female in the movie I just produced. The lead actor is Ricardo Agbor. I did some stage plays back in school too. How was your experience as a movie producer? It was hectic but very interesting. I love it. The challenges were not so many because I was prepared. The most difficult aspect was getting funds for the project but after that, it wasn’t much of a challenge. I had it all planned out. Are you still as good with the drum as you were when you were younger? Yes. I am still exceptionally good with my talking drum. The older the wine, the better it tastes. How come you no longer wear your long braids trademark? I don’t carry it as often as I used to but my clients have to pay specifically for it. The price depends on who is talking to us. I also had to cut my hair because it started breaking off. After braiding continuously for over 12 years, the hair started rebelling. One would have thought you would have launched your child’s acting career with your new movie? There was really no role as such for him. Is he showing signs of going into entertainment? He is showing signs already. He has ear for beats but he is not a good dancer. He loves singing. He loves drums; especially set drums and talking drum. He is five years old. He can’t play the talking drum very well yet. How do you juggle your music career which is mostly stage performance with movie production and motherhood? Trust me it is not easy but I am dedicated and focused. I spend quality time with my son so when I have to travel or leave home, he understands and we keep in touch on phone over 20 times a day. My mother and elder sister also help me a lot. He also has a nanny. What other projects are you involved in at the moment? I have a talk show “Ara Special” and that’s the latest from me. We are shooting the pilot edition shortly. Did you always want to be a singer? A singer was what I wanted to be. Well, I would have been working in the house of God. I would have been a prophetess. Why a prophetess, do you see visions? Yes. Don’t you think you would have done better then as a prophetess giving the fact that pastors now own private jets? You are looking at the financial gains, I am not. I never did. Did you see a vision that your marriage would break-up? I saw it. Has your vision helped you in your career? Yes it has. It has also helped people around me too.

Iran Threatens To Rape And Kill One Of Obama's Daughters, Abduct US Ministers Family Members If Obama Attacks Syria

As Congress debates whether to support President Obama’s call for a limited strike against Syria for the alleged use of chemical weapons, Iran is vowing to back Bashar al-Assad’s regime to the hilt and threatening to unleash terrorism should the U.S. strike.

Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds Forces, Wednesday told the Assembly of Experts — the body that chooses the supreme leader — that “[w]e will support Syria to the end.”

And in an unprecedented statement, a former Iranian official has warned of mass abductions and brutal killings of American citizens around the world and the rape and killing of one of Obama’s daughters should the United States attack Syria.

“Hopefully Obama will be pigheaded enough to attack Syria, and then we will see the … loss of U.S. interests [through terrorist attacks],” he threatened. “In just 21 hours [after the attack on Syria], a family member of every U.S. minister [department secretary], U.S. ambassadors, U.S. military commanders around the world will be abducted. And then 18 hours later, videos of their amputation will be spread [around the world].”

A similar act was committed in a video of the torture of William Buckley, a CIA station chief who was abducted in Beirut in 1984 and later killed by Hezbollah on Iran’s order. That video was dropped off at the U.S. Embassy in Athens. Former CIA Director William Casey later described what he saw in the video: “They had done more than ruin his body. His eyes made it clear his mind had been played with. It was horrific, medieval and barbarous.”

Cases of ladies leading deadly robbery gang is fast becoming a trend in Nigeria, with Lagos taking the lead. It seems prostitution is no longer paying some wayward ladies as much as they expect, hence the decision to take to the dangerous trade of armed robbery.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad team immediately surrounded the hotel and searched all its occupants. In the process, 2 guns and 12 live ammunition were found on the robbery suspects.
